SCC Graduation Application Form

The only way to graduate is to submit the SCC Graduation Application form. Spokane Community College wants you to graduate, and we are here to help. Please contact the Transcripts Office if you need help with this form; they can be reached at 509-533-7001transcripts@scc.spokane.edu, or in person the Transcripts Office in Building 15.

Students who wish to use transfer credits or are currently completing coursework at another institution to fulfill program requirements (including Spokane Falls Community College) must send an official transcript to transcripts@scc.spokane.edu. 

Your student ID, contact information, and program title can all be found though ctcLink for students in your student homepage under My Profile.

Communications

Contact Info:  The email address marked PREFERRED is where your graduation updates will be sent.

We will let you know:

  • We have received your Graduation Application (within 1-3 business days)
  • Whether you are on track to graduate or have some requirements to complete (within 1-3 weeks)
  • Whether your degree was awarded or denied after the term ends (within 5 weeks after the term ends)

You can also find your Graduation Status on your ctcLink student homepage under Academics > Apply for/View Graduation.  Please note:  the Apply for Graduation button does not work.  You must apply via the Sign Now Form.

If we have not received a Graduation Application your status will show “No Graduation Application exists at this time.”

If we have received your Graduation Application, then you will see one of these values under “Status.”

  • Applied for Graduation = we have received your Graduation Application.
  • Needs to Finish Pending Work = we have received your Graduation Application and you have remaining requirements.
    • To view these requirements visit the Degree Progress tab on your ctcLink homepage.
  • Eligible to Apply for Graduation = we have received your Graduation Application and you are Eligible to graduate.

Within 5 weeks of the end of term, you will see:

  • Degree Awarded or
  • Denied

Diplomas

A physical copy of your academic credential (certificate or diploma) will be ordered for you, free of charge, and should arrive by mail to the mailing address listed in your ctcLink homepage approximately 6-8 weeks after graduation.

A digital copy of your credential will also be sent to you immediately following the order.  No action or ordering is required from you.

Please ensure the following information is correct in ctcLink:

  • Degree Name:  The Degree Name listed under General Info is the name that will appear on your Diploma. 
    • If no Degree Name is listed, your Preferred Name will be used. 
    • If neither of those names is listed, your Primary Name will be used. 
    • To update your Degree Name, go to Biographical Info > Add Name.
  • Mailing Address:  The mailing address listed under Contact Info is where your Diploma will be mailed. 
    • If there is no mailing address listed, your home address will be used.
