Obtaining a Student Visa (I-20)

With a letter of final acceptance to Spokane Community College and approved financial capability documents, you will receive an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for a Nonimmigrant Student Visa). You will need a valid passport, your I-20 from SCC, and the financial capability documents in order to apply for a student visa. Take these documents to the nearest U.S. Embassy or consulate in your home country and request a multiple-entry student visa, which allows you to visit neighboring Canadian provinces and Mexico, and re-enter the U.S.
