SANE is open to all individuals to raise SCC student/faculty and
community awareness of environmental problems and challenges. SANE promotes
healthy interdependence between humans and ecosystems.
CCS Green Fleet Initiative
Join SANE in helping make a greener and cleaner campus and community. We are considering the idea of encouraging
the entire CCS (Community Colleges of Spokane) system to convert to a "green fleet." What is a green fleet? It is
a fleet of vehicles that use less fossil fuels and emit less greenhouse gases. How is this done? Hybrids, propane,
fuel cells. There are many options and many companies and public entities are going green with their fleets.
