SCC Players - Scenes of Life: Living in the Moment
The SCC Players will produce the third annual Scenes of Life: Living in the Moment. Scenes of Life is a collection of original submitted scenes. Adam (the Theatre and Film Instructor) then pairs them up with those whom he's training to be directors and trains them throughout the process. From casting to rehearsals until the final performance, this production is fun and a great learning experience. This year the theme is "Living in the Moment." As times change, it's important to understand that we must make the moments count. These scenes follow the idea that we need to make the moments count or learn to make the moments count. Filled with thought-provoking and humorous scenes, this is a fun-filled night for everyone. This cast includes 25 actors and eight directors. The directors include: Chris Bastible (These Shining Lives; Kill Me, Deadly; Scenes of Life: The Far Side of Life; and The Dining Room), Cassandra Kay Carlson (Kill Me, Deadly and These Shining Lives), Andy Duncan (These Shining Lives; Kill Me, Deadly, Scenes of Life: The Far Side of Life and The Dining Room); Dixie Sampson (These Shining Lives; Kill Me, Deadly, Scenes of Life: The Far Side of Life and The Dining Room), Marcie Summers (These Shining Lives; Kill Me, Deadly (Stage Manager), Scenes of Life: The Far Side of Life and The Dining Room) and choreographers Mikayla Daniels (These Shining Lives) and Amanda Reese (Kill Me, Deadly and These Shining Lives) as well as Adam C. Sharp (SCC Theatre and Film Instructor).
