Adam Sharp's first production at Spokane Community College was Frankenstein by R. N. Sandberg based on
the novel written by Mary Shelley. This was a wonderful production which incorporated live
music, shifting lights and energetic actors and crew members to create a unique experience. The
production began in the Arctic where Frankenstein is found aboard Captain Walton's ship
which is stuck between the ice glaciers. As Frankenstein awakes he begins to relive his
memories and pains of the experiences which led him to the Arctic. We witness the loss of
his mother, his inspiration to create the Creature, and the feelings he experiences after
the Creature was born. Half real and half surreal, the production stays true to the themes
found in the famous novel. Great actors, crew, and audiences!
