The Dining Room - Fall 2010

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the SCC Players produced the classic play, The Dining Room, by A. R. Gurney.

The Dining Room takes place in the dining room, or many dining rooms over the decades, but follows the dining table. The scenes intertwine as one begins and the other ends. Some of the scenes are touching while others are lighter in tone, but each reveals aspects of family interactions and how we use the dining room. This was a heartwarming production where twelve actors portrayed many characters, young and old, throughout the play. The play was presented with arena style (in-the-round) seating on the stage of the Lair Auditorium.
