Student ID cards are available in the library at the circulation desk. You will need picture ID and a copy of your class registration. Your first ID card is free; there is a $2.00 replacement. SCC ID cards may be used to check out library materials, use athletic facilities, attend athletic events, vote in ASC elections and pick up financial aid checks, and purchase books at the bookstore.
Low cost accident and health insurance is available to students on a quarterly basis. Information is located at the Cashiers' Office.
The following intercollegiate sports are offered at:
SCC: Men's Basketball, Men's & Women's Cross Country, Men's & Women's Golf, Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Tennis, Men's & Women's Track & Field
SFCC: Baseball, Women's Basketball, Men's Soccer, Women's Softball and Women's Volleyball. Students may attend either school while participating in sports, even if the sport is only offered at one school. [Note: Intercollegiate Sports are a district activity]
International Programs offers a full range of student services for currently enrolled international students:
The office answers inquiries about the college, its programs, visa issues, the application process, etc. Students interested in Study Abroad should contact International Programs to learn about available programs.
SCC athletics offers intramural programs open to all SCC students. Basketball, volleyball and soccer leagues are formed at the beginning of each quarter. Open gym times and fun runs are also offered.

The LRC (Building 16) includes the Library and Media Services.
The library provides reference assistance and educational materials to students and a supportive environment for study and reflection. Lockers located in the main lobby of the Lair and Building 1 may be rented through the Cashiers' Office. Lockers in other buildings are checked out through the building or department office.

The only mailbox on campus is located outside the west entrance of the Student Services Center (Building 15).
The Instructional Media Center houses a 30 station drop-in computer lab, the non-print collection of library materials (videotapes, films, DVDs, etc) and checkout equipment such as video cameras, digital still cameras, laptop computers and projectors for faculty and student projects. The Center offers a variety of testing services including computer-based certification testing as well as testing for many online and telecourse classes. The Center also provides study carrels and study rooms for individual as well as group use. A TV studio and multi-station video editing facility is available for student projects.
The Multicultural Student Services Center will provide an inclusive atmosphere for all students, faculty, staff, and community members' visiting Spokane Community College. We will offer multicultural resources, advocacy, activities, programming, and clubs to ensure the success of our students. We will also provide assistance to students from traditionally under-represented backgrounds and help them achieve academic success at Spokane Community College.
