2013 Commencement Ceremonies

Location and Guidelines

All graduations will be held in downtown Spokane at the INB Performing Arts Center, 334 West Spokane Falls Boulevard, www.spokanecenter.com.

Petition (Required)

You MUST complete the Graduation Petition Form, one per program, to determine if you are eligible to obtain your certificate or diploma and to participate in commencement. Please complete it and submit it two to three quarters before completion of your program.

Graduation Petition Form Deadlines

• Winter 2013 - February 18, 2013
• Spring 2013 - April 5, 2013
• Summer 2013 - April 5, 2013 (attending commencement)
• Summer 2013 - July 5, 2013 (not attending commencement)

Cost

There is no additional cost associated with the commencement ceremonies. All costs have already been included in your paid tuition.

Cap and Gown Distribution

If you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony, please plan to pick up your cap and gown at the Lair's Littlefoot Room (Building 6, Room 124) during one of the following opportunities:

• Tuesday, June 4 from 1 to 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Thursday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Honor Cords

Honor cords are given out at the same time students pick up their caps and gowns.

Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society regalia, which includes a tassel and a stole, are initially given at induction. If you were inducted last year and still need your stole, please go to the Transfer Advising Center in Building 1, Room 1220J at the same time you pick up your cap and gown.
