Would you like to obtain co-op credits needed for your degree while working at a starting rate of $8.55 an hour for
up to 19 hours per week? Here are the eligibility requirements for employment with SCC Campus Security:
- This must be at least your second quarter enrolled at SCC.
This requirement
may be waived at the discretion of the sergeants and/or
the security director if the applicant has prior experience. - You must be a Criminal Justice program student.
- You must maintain a GPA of a 2.0 or higher for each of your classes.
- You must possess a current valid driver's license; as well as a current parking pass.
- You will be asked to work hours that are varying and somewhat flexible based on your class schedule.
Your responsibilities may include working anywhere from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and
from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday.
