Fire Science Technology (photo)

Increasing demands for better private, municipal and governmental involvement in fire prevention and suppression fields, and the implementation of more career fire departments in formerly volunteer-protected areas, will provide an increase in the demand for entry- level firefighters.

Potential positions include: Firefighter, rescue worker, fire loss investigator, fire prevention technician, fire systems technician, fire equipment operator, dispatcher.
