Where can I go to get a job?

Job offers continually come into the SCC program from throughout the area, and graduates have a very good placement rate. They repair and maintain the diesel engines of heavy trucks, buses, ships, construction equipment and locomotives. They are employed by trucking, heavy equipment and farm equipment companies as well as by companies and government agencies that repair and maintain their own diesel-powered equipment.

How much will I earn?

Entry-level salaries range from $10 to $15 per hour in the local area, and they can be higher for graduates willing to relocate. With experience, graduates can expect to earn up to $40,000 annually.
