First Year Introduction
SCC's First Year Introduction (FYI) course helps new students to be more successful in college. This is a
one-credit college-level class listed under GUID 100. Tuition will be due for this one-credit course.
FYI dates for the fall 2012 session:
- September 10-12, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
At FYI, you will:
- Make connections with other students; meet SCC faculty and staff
- Become aware of available resources and activities
- Learn to be successful in class and discover what instructors expect from you
