Legal Administration A.A.S.
This six-quarter A.A.S. degree program trains you to run the
business portion of a law office (or other legal setting) in a supervisory capacity. The
program covers:
- Office operations and management,
- Financial spreadsheets and fiscal responsibility,
- Accounting procedures,
- Computer information systems,
- Human resource management, and
- Comprehensive legal knowledge.
Employment opportunities are increasing in law offices, courts, and law-related
occupations, including public and private law practice, corporate or government
law-related offices, legal departments of large corporations, financial institutions, and
administrative agencies.
Salaries start at approximately $10 per hour depending upon
responsibilities, organization size, and the student's skills, experience, motivation,
attitude and ability to sell herself/himself at the interview.
