Business and Management Department
The SCC Business and Management Department's philosophy is that graduating students should have the
knowledge and skills needed to enter the job market, to upgrade for promotions, and/or to transfer to
four-year colleges and universities.
Not only do our Business and Management students receive certificates, A.A. and A.A.S. degrees, but other
vocational program students on campus take specific classes in our department to expand their business
knowledge. Business is for everyone!
Department faculty care about the students we serve. We want our students to succeed and reach the
goals that they have set for themselves. Check out our qualifications on our individual faculty pages!
All of the Business and Management tenured faculty have Master's degrees; some have more than one Master's.
Some have higher degrees; some have published. Most faculty have assumed leadership roles both on and off
campus in various professional organizations. Our common denominator, however, is that we care about our students!
