9.  Resurfacing

The school's resurfacer gives students the ability to machine gasket surfaces of cylinder blocks and heads as well as intake manifolds. Some exhaust manifolds are machined on the resurfacer, but most are done on the vertical milling machine. This photo shows a student resurfacing a cylinder head.
