'77 Nova - 350 cid Chevy Small Block - Comparison of Various Parts

Without tearing into the stock engine and only using external bolt-ons, the students were able to see what affects each modification made. They tried four different intake manifolds, four different carbs, two exhausts, two ignitions, nitrous oxide and a supercharger! The best combination actually more than tripled the original horsepower!

Watch the test of the nitrous before a dyno pull with the blower and nitrous!

'88 Toyota Supra - 4.0 liter V-8

Although still "under construction" the engine did squeeze in!  Next time around, completion will include a fully programmable stand alone engine management system!

Student Projects

The students worked on many other projects, here are just a few.

'72 Monte Carlo 383 Stroker build up.

Other Projects

Dyno Pulls

The students and staff were able to see how their cars compared to each other in horsepower, torque and simulated quarter mile runs!
